The Zirben-Alm is also easy to reach by foot. The walk from the centre of Obergurgl to our hut takes just 20 minutes. Ideal for families, winter hikers and those who simply like to enjoy the snowy landscape.

Alpine location
in the Obergurgl pine forest

The Zirben-Alm is situated in a 400-year-old pine forest that gives the hut its name ("Zirbe" means "pine tree" in German). This rare forest is a jewel in the Obergurgl area and has been a protected space since 1963.
