Traditional evenings in Obergurgl

A traditionally warm welcome, live local music and delicious regional food are the three key ingredients that make our traditional evenings at the Zirben-Alm so special. In winter every Thursday from 19:00 we throw our doors open to those in search of an authentic Tyrolean experience in the mountains, complete with Austrian music and hearty food.

Highlights include salted and smoked meats as well as spare ribs, or a "Hot Stone". To make things as cosy as possible, food is simply placed in the middle of the table and everyone is welcome to help themselves. Music, culinary highlights and an authentic alpine atmosphere in the beautiful pine forest above Obergurgl guarantee a memorable evening in the Alps.

Brothers Armin and Karl Heinz Strigl and Berthold Falkner put up a special show in their traditional costumes. With rock songs, golden oldies and disco fox, the Alpine folk music trio will entertain guests with a unique "Ötztal Drive" from Tyrol.
